Local Economic Impact
Louisiana FCU is an important contributor to our local economy. We provide employment to over 60 members in the River Parish Area. We actively participate and are members of the Chambers of Commerce in our field of membership.
Serving Area Businesses
We serve over 300 local businesses by being their select financial institution for their employees. These “Business Partnerships” provide area employers a no-cost benefit to their existing employee benefits packages. According to the Consumer Federation of America, employees of our Business Partners save hundreds of dollars each year by being a member of a credit union like ours.
Serving Our Community
We honestly believe that by supporting our local community, we contribute to a higher standard of living for those around us. Louisiana FCU offers a scholarship program to graduating high school seniors, and we are committed to teen financial literacy with our student-run branch operation in East St. John High School. We encourage our employees to get involved in the local community and to support initiatives that make a positive difference.
