LOUISIANA FCU DONATES $1000 TO “TOOLS FOR SCHOOL”

LaPlace, LA – Louisiana Federal Credit Union (Louisiana FCU) donated $1000 to River Parish’s “Tools for School.” This charity provides underprivileged students in St. Charles, St. James and St. John parishes with the school supplies they require for the academic year.

Louisiana FCU began donating to “Tools for School” in 1996 at the organization’s inception.  “If we can help a child in their endeavor to get an education, then we will,” says President/CEO, Rhonda Hotard. “Sometimes it really doesn’t take much to make a big difference in the life of a child.” Louisiana FCU’s donations along with the donations of other generous businesses have made it possible for thousands of needy students to have the supplies they need to function effectively in their classrooms.
