LOUISIANA FCU CELEBRATES THE OPENING OF A MORTGAGE OPERATIONS CENTER

LaPlace, LA – On November 12th, Louisiana Federal Credit Union celebrated the grand opening of their Mortgage Operations Center. The celebration featured a ribbon cutting ceremony and a welcome reception for local area business partners, mortgage affiliates, and networking groups.

The new operations center may come as a surprise to some. “Even though we’ve all witnessed the national crisis in mortgage financing combined with a significant decline in new housing in St John’s residential growth rate, we’re very optimistic about some more recent trends,” stated Louisiana FCU President & CEO, Rhonda Hotard. “With recent growth rates showing a steady increase coupled with an overwhelming interest in mortgages, our members are looking for affordable financing options, and we are able and ready to help them achieve this financial milestone.” Louisiana FCU offers first mortgages, home equity loans, construction and land loans in addition to other popular real estate financing options.

The new Mortgage Center is located near Choice Title off Belle Terre Boulevard and is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm.

Louisiana Federal Credit Union is a full-service not-for-profit financial institution serving over 20,000 members in the River Parishes and Tangipahoa Parish area.
