Fallen & Wounded Officer Support Funds

On August 16, two St. John Parish Sheriff's Deputies, Brandon Nielsen and Jeremy Triche, were shot and killed in the line of duty.  Two other deputies, Michael Scott Boyington and Jason Triche, were severely wounded and are in critical care.  

Join us in showing support for the sacrifices that these deputies have made for our community.  Each deputy listed has an individual fund which will benefit his family.

Deputy Jeremy Triche had been with the St John Sheriff's Office for four years and was currently assigned to the Canine Division.  He is survived by his wife and two year old son.

Deputy Brandon Nielsen had been with the St John Sheriff's Office for nearly two years and was assigned to the traffic division. He is survived by his wife and five children.

Deputy Jason Triche has been with the St John Sheriff's Office for the past ten years and is currently assigned to the Uniform Patrol Division.

Deputy Michael Scott Boyington has been with the St John Sheriff's Office for the past three years and is currently assigned to the District Attorney's Office as an Investigator.
