Important Storm Recovery Information

Dear Members,

We hope you and your families are safe and are beginning to recover from the storm. Natural disasters are very stressful and we want to ease that stress where we can. Here are some ways that your Credit Union can help you recover:

• We are waiving the Skip-A -Pay fee from now until September 30. Skip-A-Pay allows you to skip your loan payment(s) for a month. For additional information on this service or to apply, click here. Members requiring further extensions should contact the Credit Union at 1.888.652.4990.

• To help you with cash flow, we are waiving early withdrawal fees on Certificates of Deposit through September 30.

• If you are shopping for a replacement vehicle, consider financing through Louisiana FCU. Now until December 31, we are offering a 2% discount on new auto rates with no payments until January 2013. To apply for an auto loan, click here.*

• If your car was damaged during the storm and you have a deficit in your GAP insurance coverage through the Credit Union, we will roll that deficit into the balance of a new auto loan. Keep in mind, GAP (Guaranteed Asset Protection) is designed to relieve the borrower from the responsibility to repay the remainder of the loan balance not covered by their primary insurance when a vehicle is totalled or stolen.**
