Louisiana Federal Credit Union is here to help members and employees of Bayou Steel experiencing hardship as a result of the recent plant closure. The following assistance is available:
Share Certificate Fee Waiver
Affected members may withdraw certificate of deposit savings before maturity to help them get through the furlough without experiencing any fees or penalties.
Loan Deferral
Affected members have the option to defer existing loans for up to 90 days. This excludes real estate and credit cards.
