Many of us struggle with our weight. Some stress over 5 pounds, while others have a bit more to deal with, myself included. With so much going on in our lives, it can be difficult to find time to work out or cook a healthy meal. A few weeks ago my dad and little sister, who shall remain nameless, decided to go for a leisurely bike ride in our neighborhood. They were going to enjoy the weather and spend some quality time together. Unfortunately, it did not turn out to be an enjoyable ride because my sister was involved in a hit and run! While it may seem impossible to completely cut out television and internet from our lives, there are ways to pay a little less and save more money. Switching providers or looking for alternatives to cable may be a daunting task, but if the savings are large enough it might not be toO...

Our community has had a very emotional few months and while it seems that things will never go back to “normal” there is always hope that tomorrow will be better than the last day. As we rebuild our homes and community, don't forget that there are people who will try to take advantage of our situation. Scams and price gauging are the last thing we should have to deal with, but if there is an opportunity, sadly, someone will try to abuse it. So, here are some helpful tips to help us avoid being scammed and to bring our community back stronger...
