Saving money is something that is very important to me. Even though I am only twenty years old, I have been through a few sticky situations in life that have made me so grateful that I was taught how to save. I don't have any human children, but I do have a furry, four-legged baby named Kali. She is my responsibility so when she gets sick, I take care of her. Around this time last year, we found out that she was hypoglycemic. It took many tests and overnight stays to figure it out. I don't have pet insurance so when I heard the news, all I saw was dollar signs. I panicked at first, but then I remembered that I have a special account that is reserved just for emergencies. The panic didn't last for long, because I was soon relieved by my savings account.
The point of this simple story is that I have that specific savings account that gains interest with easy access to funds when a crisis occurs. Saving is very important and I am thankful to Louisiana FCU for helping me reach my savings goals. We can help you too!
