Keep the Change

Keep the change

Now, more than ever, is a good time to practice saving. Why? Well, because things are becoming more and more expensive! Here are a few suggestions to help you practice good habits and save for the things you really want.

Get on a budget. It’s just as simple as that. Budget your finances according to what you make. Live within your means and it will pay off.

Save. Don't spend. Every penny counts. Set aside money for emergency purposes, family vacations and things you want. Don't confuse emergency with luxury. Ask yourself, “Do I really need this, or can it wait?”

Keep the change. Think of how much loose coin you have laying around your house and car. Grab a jar, fill it up, and head into one of our branches. Deposit that change into savings and start all over again. This vicious cycle could pay for your next weekend getaway!

Google it! With technology ever advancing, you are not limited to the saving options that I just mentioned. Head over to Google and find some saving techniques that work best for you and your lifestyle.
