DESTREHAN, LA –Louisiana Federal Credit Union (FCU) donated food to Matthew 25:35 Food Pantry during the credit union’s Roux Reunion gathering on October 10.
The donations will help provide Thanksgiving meals to St. Charles parish families struggling to put food on the table.
“The credit union movement has always been about people helping people,” said Rhonda Hotard, president and CEO of Louisiana FCU. “We are proud to exemplify that mission and are committed to helping our local communities any way we can.”
Some Louisiana FCU staff chose to participate in other ways, volunteering throughout the year to help bag food for the organization.
Matthew 25:35 Food Pantry is a mission of the St. Charles United Methodist Church.
